And the other child...

was being a silly goof and didn't want to be photographed (despite being bribed with candy). I did get his clothes done, just in time for our first Living History event, which now will most likely be without children due to various circumstances.

I'm actually not even sure we will make the event tomorrow because of some sports draft (NBA? NFL?) - one of those many compromises we make for marriage and the best way to ensure hubby's compliance at all other Fort events this season :).


The back of the vest & buckle, which was my first version of a child's vest copied from an original plate with many thanks by Originals by Kay. This is (I think) the pattern that KayFig is putting out, hopefully soon. The pants are Period Impressions fly-front and are far too big for him, but I was trying to cheat going with a vest and no braces, so I'll have to correct that as soon as I have the time.

He finally smiled once I told him he was done. I hope to have some reenacting event shots for you soon, but either way, have a lovely weekend!

The clothing is really cute. I can't wait, our reenacting season starts this Friday! :D I'm so excited.
