Nursing covers

Well, the sewing has gone slowly around here lately due to some other real life issues, but I did have a blast making these nursing covers for some recent baby showers.

I made them similar to the Bebe Au Lait type covers, which use (of all things) corset boning to stiffen the fabric so you can see the baby. Of course, yours truly just happens to have tons of this on hand :). I love this concept, although they became fashionable too late for my boys to benefit from them. But, for those of you nursing moms, this is a fun little project that goes together really quickly and helps you feel beautiful while nursing on the go!
