Noah's first suit!

I promise I will get back to posting more Candlelight Tour pictures, but I had to take a break to post pictures of Noah's first button suit.

It took me 6 months to get it sewn between all the other projects and family events, complete with 23 hand sewn buttonholes! Somehow, during that time he managed to grow, so the shirt ended up too small and the pants too large (go figure). It will have to do for the next couple of events until I can get another one done during the off-season. The shirt was modeled off this one worn by 4 year old Fred Mason Brown in 1866.

Noah was having one of those silly 4 year old days today and you can see the results below. I love you, Noah and I am so proud of you that you have grown big enough to wear your own suit!

Hi Lissa,

I spent 6 days in Yorshire and Derbyshire during a 2 weeks stint in England and Scottland. I really miss it. Powell Butte reminds so much of the Yorshire Dales. It's so enchanting.

WoW! That's so cool you got to spend a semester in England. I absolutely fell in love with it. Luckily, we live in a part of the US that looks very similar. I love it here :-)

Is your son still asking about chicken tongues?
