We did the final clothes check on hubby last night and here are the results! I love how the starched collar turned out and it reminds me of Mr. Thorton's clothing in North and South. Those big collars were a huge trend in the early 1850s!
The frock coat by Mr. Jim Ruley is truly a work of art, and it fits perfectly! I'm so glad since I am definitely not talented enough to attempt such a tailoring feat. I didn't get permission to post the top hat pictures since hubby still thinks his height makes it look goofy, but I'll try to sneak some pictures at Candlelight. I still have lots of ironing and prep to do so I'll be off, but I'll be back soon with photos of the weekend's events!
