Future projects

We've had the winter sickies this week, so very little sewing is occuring, but there has been a lot of planning future projects!

I'm going to start working on the Sense and Sensibility swing dress in a lovely mauvey wool when I get a chance. I've also still got the tan and gray wool skirts to finish up. (I'm trying to add feminity to my wardrobe. I stopped buying skirts when I quit working, so I've got a bit of catching up and modernizing to do :). After that its on to more Mid-19th century underpinnings for the season that opens in April!

And because I'm dreaming of Spring (it snowed again today), I cut out this Simplicity pattern in a pink floral to sew up at some point (at this rate probably later rather than sooner). I did wear the Angry Chicken skirt and got compliments *blush*, so that increases my desire to sew more original items to wear.
There is also a lovely tea coming up next week, and the Sew Expo at the end of the month. I can't wait! Stay warm! I'm off to try the Sour Cream Coffee Cake from Romantic History!

That's to bad it snowed there. It was over 60 degrees here.
I can't wait to see hoe the dress and skirt turns out. :)
