Am I the next Project Runway designer?

Definitely NOT!

But I did try one of the "Project Runway" patterns this week while we were snowed in. At first I found the fit less than flattering, but it is growing on me. DH suggested that it has a sort of 90s throw back look and I think it will be cute for certain occasions. And tall Irish black leather boots make anything look so much more stylish :)!

Speaking of DH, after becoming familiar with the blogosphere and considering the nature of his career, we decided he needed a suitable moniker on the blog. In keeping with the literary theme, I suggested Mr. Darcy, because he is of course my Mr. Darcy, except that we both liked each other immediately upon meeting, so that didn't really fit. We settled on "Crusoe" because what man isn't building his world with the love of his life in mind?

Merry Christmas! God bless!

Cute Lissa! I really like the sleeves. I think you need a nice long colorful scarf to wear with it!

Ooh! A colorful scarf! That would be perfect! See, this is why I need hip teenagers around me to keep me up on the latest trends!

Lissa,
Guess what! I loved the cookies from the jar, so I was googling to see if I could find a recipe, and here you were, second up on the google list! Thought I'd drop by to say hi.

Again, thanks for the cookies. I'm baking another batch right now.

PS. I think the dress is beautiful on you.

If I ever get a flat tummy back I need to try this design myself! :)
